How Sikh community rushed to rescue of Sohna mosque residents

A day after communal clashes broke out in Nuh, Gurgaon and other parts of Haryana, a mosque in Sohna was allegedly vandalised by a mob of 70-100 men. However, the mosque’s Imam, his family and a group of 10-12 children studying at the madarsa inside escaped unhurt as members of Sikh community intervened and conducted a rescue operation amid the clashes, locals said.
