AWARDEE  2025

The jury of eminent social activists of the country selected two students after scrutinizing 59 nominations for 7th Ankit-Junaid Social Harmony Fellowship 2025 These nominations show that even during these tough times where the Ganga-Jamuni culture is being bulldozed, communal harmony, diversity, and friendship still remain important for the youth and youth are working for social harmony and are dedicated to the cause .

Asrar Ahmed : Graduated from Jamia Millia Islamia , completed  Masters in Journalism IIMC and is currently  Pursuing LLB  He is one of the Fearless voices asking tough questions to power. He is a Ground reporter, law student, and social activist working in social harmony. “Satta se sawaal, awaam ke saath” From covering Bihar’s political heat to fighting for the common man on the ground, he brings unfiltered stories often ignored by the mainstream. Currently balancing courtroom arguments with street reporting – because he firmly believes that justice and journalism walk hand in hand.

Arjun Pandey : Arjun Pandey is  pursuing  B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. He has been sharing ideals of  Mahatma Gandhi and other thinkers on social media to encourage calm, honest conversations amongst young people. Over time, this work has grown into a meaningful effort to promote understanding in a space often filled with noise and division; he firmly believes in dialogue, coexistence and is relentlessly working on this. His upcoming book with Vani Prakashan continues this journey by exploring the unity and ideals of our freedom fighters. I hope to keep contributing, in simple ways, to a more thoughtful and harmonious public sphere.

Soon both these nominees will be honored and awarded in a ceremony which will organized in Delhi
